Community service is a very important aspect of being a member in Phi Sig. Each semester, we perform two community service projects. Last year, we helped serve food to the homeless at the St. Francis shelter in Gainesville. We also became involved in the Adopt-A-Road program and cleaned a portion of Nw 55th Boulevard.

This fall, we will be going to St. Francis and will maintain our road every few weeks. However, we do not want to stop there. The Community Service Chair will be responsible for planning community service trips and we hope this person will make sure the brothers participate in at least four service projects this semester.

In addition, we perform fund raisers and donate all proceeds to charities. Our main fundraiser is "Phi Sig Spike," which is organized every spring. For more information on Spike, check out our philanthropy page. While Spike is our philanthropy, we also participate in many of the sorority philanthropies that occur over the course of the school year. We will be giving a small donation to each sorority this year to support each one's charity of choice. For information on those philanthropies, please go to the Sorortiy Organized Philanthropies page.
