A National Fraternity started back in 1873, Phi Sigma Kappa is always seeking college men wishing to unite in Brotherhood, to excel in Scholarship and to develop Character. At the University of Florida, we are a chapter that is proud to say that our members range from a wide variety of majors and come from all over the country; yet, we are still bound together in the common adherence of our core values: Demanding Excellence, Committing to Lifelong Learning, Meeting Challenges with Innovation, and Valuing Brotherhood Above Self.
One of the main aspects of "The Revolution" is that there are an abundance of leadership opportunities available to new members. Some of the positions a new member can have this fall are Director of Community Service, Director of brotherhood relations, Director of Scholarship, Meal Plan Chair, Social Media Chair, and External Philanthropies Chair. All of these positions offer great experiences to our new members and can transform them into great leaders. In the Spring, our new members who held a chair or director position in the Fall will be eligible to be on the executive board of Phi Sig and hold one of the six officer positions.
Besides leadership opportunities, our new members will actively be involved in social events, intramural sports, philanthropies, service, greek events, and much more. We encourage new members to be as active in the Gainesville community as possible, whether it's on UF's campus or out in the greater Gainesville area.
If you would like to find out more go to Contact Information to submit a question, or talk to our Recruitment Director, Matthew Jonas at his cell: (954)-816-4564.
We look forward to meeting you soon!
